ACROSS THE THRESHOLD
Welcome to Salon Abode, the newest modern salon experience in Salem, Oregon.
Coyly called the home of hair and healing, it's a safe space to chat about things below the surface, or veg out to a matcha. While we're not super woo-woo, we care about connection.
I pride myself on running on schedule because I know YOUR time is valuable, so if you do arrive a little early, you'll see that we have a ton of parking available right outside our salon where you can sit cozily in your car.
THE CONSULTATION
You'll notice during the scheduling process there was a consultation form that I had you fill out. We'll sit down and chat about everything on that form plus more. We'll talk about your hair dreams and worst nightmares, and take a look at some inspiration photos so I can get an idea of the things you do, and don't like.

After I have a clear insight into our goal for today's appointment, I'll walk you through what's obtainable, our gameplan for today and future services, the level of maintenance involved in the look you desire, and how to style and care for your new look at home.
MAKING
MAGIC HAPPEN
Once I have a detailed gameplan in place, I will get to work! Every step of my lightener formulas include a bond builder to protect, strengthen, and improve the color retention of your hair. I record all processes and formulas in my notes so I can recreate all that you love and continue to perfect your color palette time after time.

While I've worked with assistants in the past, I choose now to work 1 on 1 with my clients. I find that skills I developed from training multiple employees have increased my delivery times, so you get impactful results in less time.
During your color application I love to let my clients lead the convo. Whether you want to chat, relax, or maybe a little of both! You'll have downtime for yourself while you process as I step away to refuel and you can sip or snack on one of our MANY amenity options.

You'll see for yourself my passion is education, I make sure to teach you everything you need to know about what your hair needs to stay healthy and manageable at home- including how to properly use products and style your hair in a way that helps you understand your hair in a whole new light. While I love seeing you purchase products from me, I believe it's my job to make sure you understand the science behind it so you can make the decision for yourself on what products make sense for you.

When we're all done, we wrap up with a breakdown of your customized gameplan and snap a few pics (as long as lighting and timing allows!). Then you're out the door, where I hope you feel beautiful and refreshed with your new look.
